How much will my reservation cost?
You can estimate the total cost of your rental using the info above. Please remember to include time for setup and cleanup in your total reservation time. Renters must carry insurance covering their events. Each event is different - for the exact cost, and to make a reservation, send e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 831-335-5621.
Can we get a non-profit discount?
If your group is incorporated as a non-profit organization in the state of California, and/or is designated as a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) organization for tax purposes, you should qualify for the non-profit rental rate. Other charitable and youth organizations may also qualify for this rate even if they have not been formally incorporated as a non-profit. Please contact us for more information.
Can I cancel my reservation after I make it?
Yes, you can cancel a reservation up to 30 days prior to the event and receive a partial refund of your rental fee. Please send e-mail or call as soon as possible if you have to cancel.
Can I serve alcohol at my event?
Alcohol can be served inside the Community Hall building, if arrangements for this service have been approved prior to your event. You will need to complete and sign additional forms. If you plan to sell alcohol, you will need to provide a copy of your ABC license. Without prior approval, alcohol is not permitted at the Felton Community Hall.
How many people does your facility hold?
The maximum occupancy of our auditorium is 289 people. This is the standing occupancy (without any tables and chairs in the room). The seated capacity of the room is about 180 people. With tables and chairs, the occupancy is about 140 people. Our meeting room has a capacity of about 68 people.
Do you provide stage lighting, projector/screen and sound?
We have some equipment installed in the auditorium, and prior arrangements are required. Please check with us when making reservations.
Do you have kitchen facilities?
Yes, our kitchen is available for rental if you are also renting another room in the facility. Please see above details for the rental rate.
What color are your tables and chairs?
All of our tables have grey plastic laminated tops. They are all 6' by 30". The auditorium folding chairs are tan with some color accents on the padded seats and backs. The stacking meeting room chairs have blue padded seats and backs. For more information please see our Tour page.
Can I rent your kitchen for preparation of food for an off-site event?
Our kitchen can only be used for preparation of food to be consumed at the Felton Community Hall. Unfortunately, we can not rent out our kitchen separately for commercial food preparation.
Do you have pans and utensils in the kitchen?
In the past we have provided a set of cooking pans and utensils for our renters to use, but we have found that these have disappeared over time. We now have very few items left, so please plan on bringing with you all pans, dishes, glasses and utensils you will need.
How large is your stove and refrigerator?
We have a 6 burner gas stove with a 24 inch wide griddle and 2 full size ovens. We have a large capacity (approximately 50 cu. ft.) 2 door commercial style refrigerator (no freezer). Please look at our Tour page for more detailed information.
Do you have a microwave oven and a coffee maker?
Yes, we have a large microwave oven in the kitchen. We also have a large (20 to 60 cup) coffee urn and a smaller (12 cup) coffee maker available for use in the kitchen. Please plan to bring coffee grounds, cups, and any other items you will need for coffee service.
